Mix different shades together to create your own unique look. The natural shades (1N - 10N) are designed to cover grey hair and give a natural look. The remaining colours are fashion colours to add different shades and tones to the hair. Fashion colours can be mixed with natural colours to cover grey or can be intermixed to create your own shade.

Colour Suggestions

5D (Light Golden Brown) can be mixed in equal amounts with 7D (Medium Golden Blonde). This works to darken the 7D and lighten the 5D and so you achieve a lovely golden colour in the middle.

Similarly, you can blend the M / R / C / RR shades.

4CH (Rich Chocolate Brown) can be mixed in equal amounts with 6TF (Dark Toffee Blonde) to give a lighter tone of Chocolate Brown.

You can also mix across the tones in equal amounts, for example:

5D (Light Golden Brown) and 5R (Rich Copper Brown) will give a rich gold with an undertone of copper.

4M (Medium Mahogany Brown) and 4RR (Dark Henna Red) will give a deeper red with lovely violet undertones.

8RR (Light Henna Red) and 6RM (Medium Red Copper) will give a beautiful bright red.

You can even use some of the colours as toners on pre-lightened hair. 10C (Light Ash Blonde) and 10N (Natural Platinum Blonde) are ideal for this purpose. Simply follow the instructions in the Tints of Nature Highlighting Kit, but after shampooing, do not apply the conditioner. Instead, towel-dry the hair and apply the toner colour, following the instructions provided in the box. Pay special attention to shampooing off the colour and applying the conditioner and you will achieve a beautiful natural bonde with 10N and a marvellous natural ash blonde with 10C.
