One of the richest mineral foods, renowned for centuries as the "Father of all foods", due to its beneficial effects on health and vitality. The Alfalfa plant is capable of extending its root system 24 feet (7.5metres), where it can reach minerals and nutrients inaccessible to most other plants. As a result the plant is uncommonly rich in nutrients. Alfalfa contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Inositol, Biotin and Folic Acid, Vitamins C, D, E and K. It is high in protein and the minerals Potassium, Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium and Iron. It also contains trace quantities of Copper, Manganese, Boron, Cobalt and Molybdenum. Further to this, up to eight enzymes are present that are known to promote biochemical reactions that enable food to be assimilated properly within the body. Made in Australia.
The ash of Alfalfa contains
99% available calcium and has an alkalising effect on the body and the digestive system. Alfalfa contains 75.4mg per 100g of digestible iron - an important nutrient well publicised today. This valuable plant is well known for its ability to rid the tissues of excess fluid. Alfalfa is rich in chlorophyll and nutrients and is a good choice of mineral supplement as the minerals present are in a balanced form for absorption.

Organic Alfalfa Powder-Nutritional Analysis
The following nutritional data relates to scientific analysis of SAFE's organic Alfalfa Powder. This nutritional analysis includes major vitamin and mineral components, fats, carbohydrates and protein content. Superoxide Dismutase content is a very good 'marker' and indicator for overall enzyme activity. Because S.A.F.E Alfalfa Powder is an organic, whole leaf powder, ground without the use of heat or friction, enzyme activity is retained. Research data continually indicates that Superoxide Dismutase levels are comparable or higher than those in other alfalfa juice extracts. Soluble fiber from the leaf protects the nutrients and enzymes and prevents oxidization of the green food product. Tests and studies show that SAFE's Alfalfa Powder does not oxidize or deteriorate for up to three years if stored in a cool, dry environment.
