This Richesse de L'Afrique from Remedica product contains genuine village made African Fair Trade organic Shea Butter as a rich and nourishing moisturiser.

Shea butter is an extremely effective emollient and skin elasticiser for stretch marks (superior to cocoa butter) because of it's natural latex as well as being completely ingestible so therefore good for sore/chafed nipples while breast feeding. It can also be used for diaper rash and treatment of eczema as an emollient to maintain moisture in the epidermis.

This product is fantastic for very dry, dehydrated and damaged skin. Examples include concrete burns, cracked heels and eczema.

Unfragranced, this product boasts an unrivalled unique manufacturing process incorporating fresh at point of inclusion organic Aloe Vera gel. This natural gel is literally filleted from the leaf and added immediately to the shea butter during manufacturing.

Suited to: pregnancy, breast feeding, general very dry skin, skin pathologies where a moist skin is desired (forms an excellent moisture barrier for those suffering eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis).

Unrefined—unprocessed Shea is quite dense and may under certain temperatures be a little stiff. Always recommended that the butter is warmed in the hands before spreading.

This is a dense and oily emollient and not intended for facial application. Best used for affected skin after bath or shower and applied while skin is still moist. A small amount goes a very long way. Also suitable over targeted areas to avoid stretch marks, sooth flaky skin, sooth rashes etc.
